Pixel pitch is the number that decides whether the wall reads or falls apart: it sets the minimum distance an audience can stand and still see an image instead of dots. Getting the total pixel count right matters just as much, because that is the canvas your media server has to output — and it is rarely a tidy 1920x1080.
Power
Enter your circuit type — 110V Edison or 208V — the breaker amperage, the power factor and the maximum panels the manufacturer allows per run. The calculator sizes the distribution from the panel wattage and the panel count.

Two things bite people here. Panel wattage is usually a peak figure, so a wall that idles quietly can still trip a breaker on a white frame — size on peak. And the manufacturer's maximum panels per run exists for a reason: exceeding it is how you get voltage drop at the end of a chain and panels that shift color across the wall.
Data ports and processors
Total pixels divided by the pixels each output port can carry gives the port count, which decides the processor. The calculator includes presets for common units and reports both raw and mapped ports.

Projection: blend, throw and lens
For a horizontal blend, enter the number of projectors, their native resolution, the blend percentage and the screen width. You get the overlap and the total canvas so content is authored at the right size the first time.

The throw and lens section takes your screen width and the throw distance you actually have in the room, and tells you the lens you need — or, given the lens you own, the throw it requires.
Framing and layout helpers
Center / slice — fit content of one size into an output of another, with horizontal and vertical zoom, so you know exactly what gets cropped before you find out on the wall.
Portrait from 16:9 — place a 16:9 composition inside a portrait LED surface: position, size and scale-to-LED, with the coordinates you can type straight into the server.
Pixel gap — for walls built with physical space between sections, convert the gap in feet to the gap in pixels so the content skips the void instead of disappearing into it.

How do I calculate how many LED panels I need?
Start from the physical size you want and the panel you are using. Panels wide multiplied by panels high gives the total count, and multiplying by the panel's pixel dimensions gives the real resolution you have to feed. The calculator does this both ways so you can push a size and see the pixel count, or push a pixel count and see how big the wall becomes.
How much power does an LED wall need?
Multiply watts per panel by the panel count, then divide by the circuit you actually have. The calculator works in 110V Edison or 208V, takes your breaker amperage, power factor and the maximum panels allowed per run, and returns circuits needed, panels per circuit, and the service load as single phase or three phase per leg. Panel wattage is a peak figure, so size the service on peak rather than an average.
How many data ports does my LED processor need?
Divide total pixels by the pixels each port can carry.
